Classic Brush

Product Number 4584
Classic Brush mats feature extra-course nylon fibers blended with traditional nylon carpet fibers. This duo of fibers is designed to create excellent scraping and wiping action for maximum soil-stopping power.
  • Superior Dirt-Stopping Power - Course nylon fibers scrape and wipe dust and dirt from shoes
  • Resilient - High-twist, heat-set nylon resists crushing to better trap dirt and extends the useful life of the mat
  • Fade Resistant - Solution-dyed nylon won't fade in sunlight or with repeated washing; impervious to bleach
  • Commercially launderable
  • Available in 1 color on durable nitrile rubber with multiple backing options (smooth or claw) to ensure the mat stays in place on your floor

Recommended for indoor use at entryways where more aggressive scraping/wiping action is desired to remove dirt, sand, and moisture from shoes to prevent tracking.

Classic Brush mats can be cleaned in several different ways.

  1. Commercially laundered (see Laundering Instructions)
  2. Vacuumed regularly: daily in high-traffic areas, weekly in lower-traffic applications
  3. Cleaned with an extractor and laid flat to dry.

Mats should always be dry before they are placed back in service and cooled before rolling.

Classic Brush Mats that are backed with nitrile rubber can be commercially laundered. Proper laundering will prolong the life of the mat by preventing the buildup of soil and soap residue.

For heavy soil, increase the temperature to a max of 140 degrees F (60 degrees C). The break should not exceed a pH of 9.5; use low pH non-ionic detergents.

  1. Flush 2-3 minutes, medium water level, 120 degrees F (49 degrees C)
  2. Flush (optional) 2-3 minutes, medium water level, 120 degrees F (49 degrees C)
  3. Break 2-3 minutes, high water level, 120 degrees F (49 degrees C)
  4. Rinse 2 minutes, high water level, cold
  5. Rinse 2 minutes, high water level, cold
  6. Extract (low speed) 1-2 minutes
  7. Shake out (rotate the wheel at wash speed with the drain open) 1 minute
  8. Extract (low speed) 3-5 minutes
  9. Dry 5-10 minutes, 180 degrees F (82 degrees C) basket temp.
  10. Cool down 5 minutes

Lay mats flat following removal from washer or dryer. Allow cooling before rolling.Do not over-dry mats; the basket temperature of the dryer should not exceed 180 degrees F (82 degrees C).

If mats are not dried, the final rinse can be increased to 140 degrees F (60 degrees C). This will reduce moisture retention following extraction.
